See the Grand Départ trophy this summer

During August and September you can get up close to the Grand Départ trophy, that Lizzie Deignan and Mark Cavendish collected on behalf of Great Britain in Paris at the end of the 2026 Tour de France.

Presented to the next Grand Départ hosts, the trophy was received from Mayor of Barcelona Jaume Collboni after the finale on the Champs-Élysées. The trophy is the symbol of the Grand Départ, engraved with the name of every previous Tour de France Grand Départ host since Corsica 2013.

Following the success of July’s railway station activations, as well as celebrations in Leeds and Kirklees to mark one year to go until the Grand Départ of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the Grand Départ roadshow will be travelling around the routes during August and September, with the Grand Départ roadshow.

You can find the Grand Départ roadshow and come and see the trophy in the following locations:

  • Wednesday 5 August – Eisteddfod, Pembrokeshire
  • Saturday 8 August – Family fun day at National Mining Museum, Midlothian
