Find out more at Grands Départs activations during July

If the start of this year’s Tour de France has got you excited for the 2027 Grands Départs, then during July you can find out more about how you can get involved by joining the Grand Départ GB team over the next three weeks in Cardiff, Manchester and London.

The activations began on Thursday 2 July at Edinburgh Waverley railway station, with the three remaining activations at railway stations taking place as follows:

• Thursday 9 July | Central Square, outside Cardiff Central railway station (08:00 – 19:00)
• Thursday 16 July | Manchester Piccadilly railway station concourse (07:00 – 19:00)
• Thursday 23 July | London King’s Cross railway station concourse (07:00 – 19:00)

The activations gives people a chance to find out more information on next year’s men’s and women’s Grands Départs, and to discover how they can get involved by being a volunteer JOY Maker, with members of the volunteer team on hand to answer any questions, or to help with the registration process. There will also be kid’s activities on offer, facilitated by members of the JOY social impact team, with colouring sheets and stickers.

For anyone who visits the activation,  Zwift are giving fans the chance to experience the platform and test their Zwift Ride smart bike. For those who are unable to attend in person, Zwift’s festivity of ‘Tour Fever’ will run from 6 July 6 to 16 August, featuring many of the key climbs from both 2026 races and a newly expanded Paris map.
