Final chance to help make history in 2027 as a JOY Maker

There are just five days left to get your application in to be a volunteer JOY Maker at next year’s Grands Départs, and to play your part in the biggest free-to-attend sporting event to ever take place in Britain.

Applications to be a JOY Maker close at 23:59 on Tuesday 1 September 2026. So don’t miss out!

Our team of JOY Makers will be a key part of us making next summer’s Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift so special for the whole country, and to show off Britain to the world. Plus it’s a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, and to say that you were there and a part of making the Grands Départs happen.

Anyone from 16 years upwards can be a JOY Maker, with no experience or cycling knowledge necessary.
