We are delighted to announce the launch of our Social Impact programme – Joy; embedding community impact at the heart of the Grand Départ.

We have identified 3 core missions:

· Tackling inactivity and improving mental wellbeing

· Making Britain more productive and prosperous

· Supporting communities to thrive

Our missions clearly define how the Grand Depart will positively impact households and businesses across the UK as we welcome this landmark event for cycling.

To achieve this, we have identified 6 core programmes which will be rolled out across our host nations through the following themes:

· Girls Participation

· Soft Power, Trade & Diplomacy

· Employability

· Digital Schools

· Arts & Culture

· Community Engagement Toolkit

Whether you are an active cyclist or are yet to be exposed to the sport, we will bring the Joy of cycling to you through positive social change.
